Fundamental rights index (IDEA)

The Fundamental Rights Index (IDEA) is a comprehensive measure developed by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) to assess the state of fundamental human rights in a country. This index evaluates various aspects of fundamental rights, including freedom of expression, the right to life and security of the person, freedom of assembly, and rights to privacy among others.
