Local Democracy Index (IDEA)

The Local Democracy Index (IDEA) is developed by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of local governance in various countries. This index measures aspects such as the degree of decentralization, the accountability and responsiveness of local government officials, the participation of citizens in local decision-making, and the transparency of local administrative processes.
