Freedom of movement index (IDEA)

The Freedom of Movement Index (IDEA), crafted by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), evaluates the extent to which individuals in various countries can freely move within and outside their national borders. This index assesses the legal and practical conditions affecting citizens' rights to travel, relocate, and reside in different areas, including any government-imposed restrictions or barriers.
