Inclusive suffrage index (IDEA)

The Inclusive Suffrage Index (IDEA), developed by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), evaluates how broadly and inclusively voting rights are extended to the population of a country. This index measures factors such as the eligibility age, enfranchisement of resident non-citizens, voting rights for diaspora and displaced populations, and the inclusivity of electoral processes for marginalized or historically excluded groups.
