How are Digital Transactions Evolving in Ethiopia?

Ethiopia is rapidly expanding digital financial transactions. Mobile banking is the most popular method, followed by mobile money and ATM transactions, according to an NBE, 2024 report. The total number of digital transactions has risen to over 3.02 billion and value of transaction to 12.5 trillion.
